To All The Supporters of the Greater Lowell Music Theatre...With
the great success, thanks to you, of THE MUSIC MAN IN CONCERT in August
of 2012, the Greater Lowell Music Theatre is proud to announce that
we'll be back in 2013 with TWO great shows.On March 15 and 16, we
will present the GLMT MELODY CAVALCADE, which will be an original
musical show written by Jack Neary, and which will feature some of the
great pop, jazz and Broadway songs of all time, selected by our Music
Director, Leon Grande. |

Thanks to the over 100 friends who have pledged on the
Kickstarter site, these funds will be officially released to us on April
15. This outpouring of support has
definitely kick started our theatre. Our
next fund-raising effort will bring us even closer to reaching our overall
budget goal of $25,000. With that in
mind, if you know folks who would like to pledge using their credit or debit
card, the Kickstarter site will be available through 9 p.m. on
April 15. With your help, we are in sight of making this exciting new,
summer offering in Lowell a reality! Thanks, so very much, to those who

As of this morning, March 23, 2012, our Kickstarter pledge total is $6250. That's 62 and a half trombones on our way to 76. I hope to utilize this blog more frequently as the weeks approaching our performance go by. At this point, on February 29, 2012, I'm still trying to pull everything together,constructing a Kickstarter site to raise funds, seeking out talent for THE MUSIC MAN, and generally juggling a million things as we embark on this venture. Stay tuned!
